Ciarán started miming at the age of 14, encouraged by an accidental audience of strangers who stumbled upon a costume party he was attending. He then started to busk on the streets of his hometown, drawing on his training as a dancer and imitating the routines of performers like Harpo Marx, and Buster Keaton. He started to get invited (and invited back!) to perform at outdoor festivals and large parties.
Then, after receiving professional mask and clown training (in the Pochinko-Leqoc traditions) during his Undergraduate degree, Ciarán's mime developed into a more charming, scheming, and often tricking character.
Ciarán's clown has been rehearsed and developed for many years on the streets of small towns and major cities. His performance is best suited to young audiences in an open informal setting.
